John Grant

John Grant is your CanDo Member for Springwood.

John has lived in the Springwood electorate for 33 years and has a genuine passion to serve his local community. During his 13 year career as a councillor with Logan City Council he has dedicated his time to improving the area for his constituents and listening to their concerns.

John is a family man, through and through, and has been married to his wife Robyn for 35 years with three children and now three grandchildren.

He entered Council in 1997 after 18 years of managing his design business. While a Councillor, John was elected as Chair of Planning and Development, and was Deputy Mayor for four years, including time as Acting Mayor.

He understands the best way to support the local community is to be involved in it, and he has been involved in the Springwood area for most of his life.
