Kerry Millard is your CanDo Member for Sandgate.

Kerry is the child of English immigrant parents, but was born in Brisbane and is a proud first generation Australian. She grew up in the border town of Texas, until she returned to Brisbane when she was 15 to complete her schooling.

For the past 15 years, Kerry has lived in Sandgate where she can regularly be found walking her dogs along the waterfront.

Kerry has worked full time since leaving school, mostly in the metals distribution and steel industry. Working in this field has given her a first-hand view of the impact government decisions have on small business, large industry and the manufacturing sector.

"Queensland has such an important role to play in the economic success of this country," Kerry said.

"We need a team that will save money and cut government waste to get Queensland back on track."

Kerry is passionate about making a difference for residents of the Sandgate electorate, from Brighton to Deagon and Bracken Ridge to Taigum.
