BiographyKev Lingard is one of the LNP's most experienced Members. First elected to Parliament in 1983, Kev has held many positions in government and opposition, including Minister for Families, Youth & Community Care. Respected by all his colleagues, Kev has also served as Speaker of Parliament on two occasions.
Prior to entering Parliament, Kev was a local High School Principal and also worked for the ABC as a sports commentator. Married to Alison, the couple have three children. Kev enjoys golf and restoring old homes. He’s also represented Queensland in various sports including both Rugby Union and Rugby League.
