Tim NichollsShadow MinistryShadow Treasurer and About TimTim Nicholls was elected to Parliament in 2006 after six years as Councillor for Hamilton Ward in the Brisbane City Council.
Tim is the Shadow Minister for Treasury and Future Growth.
As a Councillor, Tim was the Lord Mayor's Finance Spokesman and a member of the Expenditure Review Committee.
He is married to Mary, an occupational therapist, and has three young children.
Tim enjoys managing his son's rugby team, reading to his kids and reading a good book. Tim was a lawyer before he joined Council. He also worked as a storeman and packer, waiter and legal clerk while studying.

Thank you Jan for stating the obvious, it is a department out of control with inexperience and a sense of loathing for parents.
The Minister has always shirked her responsibility. Just what is her job again and how much does she get paid to pass the buck?
Ms - Dear Mr Springborg, I am appalled at the use of speed cameras as a tool for further revenue collection especially
considering the hard times being endured. Collecting speeding fines from people a few kilometers over the speed limit cannot be
