Nicole JohnstonSuburbs in the Tennyson WardThe Tennyson Ward comprises the suburbs of Annerley, Chelmer, Graceville, Fairfield, Sherwood, Tennyson, Yeronga, Yeerongpilly and parts of Corinda and Rocklea.
About NicoleNicole Johnston was elected as Councillor for the Ward of Tennyson in March 2008 as part of Lord Mayor Campbell Newman's team. Nicole grew up and was educated in Brisbane, studying Law at QUT and Arts at University of Queensland. Nicole has also completed a Masters in Public Policy.
Prior to being elected to Council, Nicole worked in corporate affairs holding senior management positions for two publicly listed Australian companies.
Nicole lives in Sherwood and is an active member of a number of community, sporting and environmental groups. Nicole is currently Patron of the Graceville Croquet Club and Western Districts Community and Sporting Club.
Following the election, Nicole was appointed Councillor Assisting the Lord Mayor, Deputy Chairperson of Brisbane City Council and Deputy Chairperson of the City Business and Water Supply Committee. Nicole is also a member of the Environment, Parks and Sustainability Committee.
