Walker to take the pledge to get QLD back on track

The LNP, led by Campbell Newman, is making a pledge to the people of Queensland that an LNP Government will get Queensland back on track.

The tired 20 year Labor Government has a track record littered with broken promises, waste and red tape.

The pledge that the LNP and Campbell Newman are making is to:
1.       Grow a four pillar economy
2.       Lower the cost of living for families by cutting waste
3.       Deliver better infrastructure and better planning
4.       Revitalise front line services for families; and
5.       Restore accountability in Government

The 'Pledge Trailer' is visiting our part of town on Wednesday at 3pm (50 Boundary Rd Thornlands - outside Murray's Flower Farm) and the LNP Pledge to the people of Queensland will be officially signed by LNP Candidate for Mansfield Mr Ian Walker, Mr Peter Dowling State Member for Redlands and Dr Mark Robinson State Member for Cleveland.

Mr Walker said, "The LNP knows what is really concerning our local families and by signing this pledge we are committing to address key issues such as tackling cost of living pressures and cutting Labor's waste.  The four pillars to support the action plan – agriculture, construction, mining and tourism - are focussing on key economic areas which will help turn our economy around and create jobs"

"LNP Leader Campbell Newman and our entire team will work day and night to provide a strong alternative Government with a clear vision for the people of this great State. Labor has failed to manage our economy and racked up almost $85 billion of debt and has let down families in Queensland by slugging them with extra fees and charges to pay for the Bligh government's financial recklessness."

It's time to put some 'Can Do' back into George Street. It's time for a change. It's time to get Queensland back on track.
