LNP candidate Tarnya Smith extends service for the public

LNP candidate for Mount Ommaney, Tarnya Smith has announced the Mount Ommaney campaign office will be open to the public from Monday the 6th of February.

"My focus is standing up for the people of the Mount Ommaney electorate, locals have had enough of Labor's waste, the increases to cost of living, asset sales and spin. It's time for a change, its time to get Queensland back on track," Mrs Smith said.

"I've been helping locals for over 12 months, receiving hundreds of calls, emails and letters. I look forward to having a designated walk-in office where the community can have their say and seek assistance on the issues close to home.

"Every issue will be given the utmost attention and priority to seek a positive outcome for you and our community.

The Mount Ommaney campaign office is situated at Shop 14, 62 Looranah Street in Jindalee, directly behind the communal Jindalee Swimming Pool.

Tarnya Smith is your CanDo Member for Mount Ommaney.

Tarnya is a community advocate, small business owner, a wife and mother of three.

As the owner of a wholesale butchery outlet, Tarnya knows and understands the stresses and strains of operating a small business. With an extensive background in industrial relations and human resources, within both Queensland Health and the private enterprise sector, Tarnya knows the importance of a fair go for both employees and business owners.

She also understands the vital role that volunteer community groups play within the electorate of Mount Ommaney. Tarnya is a keen a local supporter and donor to many community groups, including the Magpie's Junior Rugby League Football Club, WASP Junior Rugby Union, Little Athletics, Kiwanis Club, LifeLine Community Care Children Services, Australian Rotary Health and Lakes Swimming Club

As a member of the CanDoQLD team, Tarnya Smith is a hard worker who stands up for her community.
