"Local police, community leaders and the LNP have highlighted loop holes in Labor's legislation for years, yet all have been ignored by this tired and unaccountable Labor government.
"Vehicles driven by repeat offender hoons are rarely confiscated as Labor has burdened already stretched police with ridiculous amounts of paperwork to fill in.
"Those offenders that do make it to court, are often given no more than a slap on the wrist, and are back on the streets causing havoc within hours.
"Queensland families and businesses are sick of Labor botching laws and paying lip service to serious law and order issues within our local communities.
"Incumbent Member for Mount Ommaney, Julie Attwood should apologise to the residents of South West Brisbane on behalf of her Labor colleagues, for failing to stop hooning in the local streets she represents.
"As part of the CanDo LNP team I will stand up for our community and help restore accountability to government," Mrs Smith said.
