Reducing cost of living pressures for local families in Pine Rivers and Kallangur and ensuring a strong four pillar economy to provide local jobs now and into the future are the key election issues for our community and to get Queensland back on track, local LNP candidates said today.
The introduction of a new bus route linking Lawnton Station to Westfield Strathpine via Bray Park is a win for commuters and a victory for common sense, LNP Candidate for Pine Rivers, Mr Seath Holswich, said today.
This change comes after weeks of pressure from local residents after vital links were removed under Translink's timetable changes for the Pine Rivers area.
LNP Candidate for Pine Rivers, Mr Seath Holswich, has expressed his commitment to working towards a safer Pine Rivers for all local residents and businesses.
"Everyone has the right to feel safe in their own home and surrounds and I will work hard to help make Pine Rivers a safer place to live," Mr Holswich said.
LNP candidate for Pine Rivers, Seath Holswich, has outlined his positive plans for Pine Rivers in the lead up to the March 24 State Election.
"Pine Rivers is a wonderful place to live, work and play. There are many great things about living in Pine Rivers but I want to ensure that there is a bright future for the Pine Rivers region. Local residents need better infrastructure, more police and access to health services and of course, relief from skyrocketing cost of living pressures," Mr Holswich said.
"Labor has taken local residents and commuters for granted for far too long. Today's reannouncement of the Narangba Train Station upgrade is yet another example of their arrogance. They are all talk and no action." said Mr Grimwade.
"The only thing that's changed since 2009 is the cost has gone higher and higher. In the June/July 2010 edition of his newsletter, Labor MP Mark Ryan announced $15 million for Narangba Train Station upgrade works.
The health and wellbeing of Lawnton and Bray Park residents is being put at risk by Labor's bus route changes, LNP Candidate for Pine Rivers, Mr Seath Holswich, said today.
Mr Holswich has spent the past few days talking with residents and businesses about the severity of the impact these bus route changes will have when they come into effect on Monday 27th February.
LNP Candidate for Pine Rivers, Mr Seath Holswich, has welcomed the ALP's announcement of their candidate for Pine Rivers, but has cautioned Pine Rivers against returning Labor to power in Pine Rivers at this State Election.
"It's a different face being put up by Labor, but it's still the same old Labor Government," Mr Holswich said.
