Lawnton residents around Francis Rd feel abandoned by the State Government after the removal of their bus service to Strathpine Westfield, LNP Candidate for Pine Rivers Mr Seath Holswich stated today.
Mr Holswich has been contacted by a number of concerned residents since the new bus timetables and routes were revealed.
Local LNP Candidates, Mr Seath Holswich and Mr Trevor Ruthenberg, have welcomed the announcement that a contract for the reconstruction of the AJ Wyllie Bridge has finally been awarded.
Mr Holswich and Mr Ruthenberg are pleased to hear that the project in now moving ahead, but remain critical of the State Government's slow progress on this project.
