One year on from the January 2011 floods, local LNP Candidates have called for Pine Rivers and Kallangur residents to remember the amazing volunteer spirit that helped so many people recover from the floods.
Mr Trevor Ruthenberg, LNP Candidate for Kallangur, recalls the amazing effort of local residents in getting the region back on its feet after the floods. "In spite of the scale of the disaster, it was great to see local residents lending a hand to people they'd never met to ensure everyone made it through the flood recovery."
LNP Candidate for Pine Rivers, Mr Seath Holswich, has urged all Pine Rivers residents to get involved in this year's Clean Up Australia Day.
Mr Holswich will once again be coordinating two clean up sites on Sunday 4th March, at Youngs Crossing, Joyner and along Old North Rd at Bray Park/Warner.
