Caloundra Road speed limit change in place

The speed limit of Caloundra Road has now been changed.

Earlier this month, the Department of Transport and Main Roads advised that the speed limit of Caloundra Road would be changed, from 80 km/h to 100 km/h from the Racecourse Road interchange to the Kawana Way Link Road roundabout.

The Bligh Government has let down Toowoomba yet again with its failure to follow through on important road works on James Street, proving that Kerry Shine and Anna Bligh have no vision and no plans for the Garden City, LNP candidate for Toowoomba North Trevor Watts said.

"Forget what Labor says, look at what they do and when it comes to delivering for Toowoomba North, it's absolutely nothing," Mr Watts said.

A CanDo LNP Government will revitalise front line education services by boosting Prep teacher aides across Queensland schools to ensure our children get the best start, LNP candidate for Greenslopes, Ian Kaye, said today.

"Under the tired, 20-year Labor government, Queensland children are languishing at the bottom of the nation for literacy and numeracy.

LNP Candidate for Mount Ommaney Tarnya Smith today travelled the electorate with Shadow Transport Minister Scott Emerson highlighting transport troubles facing the region.

"Labor has let down the electorate of Mount Ommaney by failing to provide transport systems that cater for the continued growth in this region," Mrs Smith said.
