Sunshine Coast mothers and their children have won a boost from the LNP's newly announced "Mums and Bubs" policy which will see maternal health nurses visiting new parents at home to provide much needed support.
The LNP today pledged $4 million to support Queensland community groups with grants up to $5000 and volunteer groups with grants up to $15,000 through its Caring for our Community program.
LNP Member for Kawana, Jarrod Bleijie said the LNP's Caring for our Community program would provide community and volunteer groups with $4 million for small grants over three years to help them buy equipment to support Queenslanders in need.
