Mark Boothman

Mark is your CanDo Member for Albert.

Mark will be a strong voice for Albert and will help Campbell Newman get Queensland back on track.

Having lived in the district for 33 years, and educated at local state schools and colleges, Mark believes in local solutions to local problems, by giving power pack to the people in our area.

Mark is Vice President of the Lions Club of Ormeau, a dedicated worker for Quota International, State Emergency Services and an active participant in various community action groups. These commitments require Mark to give up most of his spare time, which he does willingly.

After leaving high school, Mark completed multiple TAFE Certificates, including a certificate four in financial services (Mortgage Broking), a degree and has won multiple awards for his student work.

Mark recently married his wife Kanako and together they have a baby daughter Eleanor.

As an independent mortgage broker, Mark understands the effects of government mismanagement and knows that only through cutting waste and better management, can we see action on the basics and better delivery of services.
