QTU fails to read LNP policy
The QTU should give itself an 'F' for failing reading comprehension after misreading and misrepresenting the LNP's announcement on the Building Our Future Schools Fund, the State Opposition said today.
Deputy Opposition Leader Tim Nicholls said the LNP was committed to growing the existing $300 million capital funding for state schools while providing an additional 25 per cent of the Building Our Future Schools Fund.
The State Opposition has said that on the eve of International Women's Day, Labor is yet again all talk, but no action.
"This tired, 20-year Labor government has failed Queensland women miserably. It simply has not cared for or delivered for women," LNP Shadow Minister for Government Services, Building Industry, Information and Communication Technology Ros Bates said.

LNP commits $40 million for floodplain security
The LNP today committed to a Floodplain Security scheme to better protect flood-prone Queensland communities.
LNP Leader Campbell Newman said an LNP government would provide $40 million over four years, and will be followed by an ongoing and long term $10 million a year state government investment in improved flood security.

Swag of donations show Labor 'joined at the hip' with Jim Elder
