Having trouble with the above files? Download a ZIP file with .MP3 and .M4R ringtone files inside.
Troubleshooting
1. My iPhone ringtone file downloaded as a .txt file. You can rename the file to have the extension .m4r or download the ZIP file and get the .m4r file from there. Doubleclick the .m4r file to send it to iTunes.
2. My ringtone plays in the browser window and I can't save it. Click the BACK button on your browser. Make sure you're right-clicking the link to save the ringtone file. Depending on your internet browser, you'll see an option to save the link. It may be one of the following:
• Save Target As (Internet Explorer)
• Save Link As (Firefox)
• Save Linked File to "Downloads" or Save Linked File As (Chrome and Safari)
3. I doubleclicked the iPhone ringtone, I hear it playing but I can't find it. Open iTunes. Check the Ringtones section of your Library (top-left menu). If you've double clicked the .m4r file, it will automatically save to your iTunes Ringtones folder.
4. I can't see Ringtones in my Library in iTunes. Open the iTunes preferences. In the General tab, make sure that under the Library options, the Ringtones check box is ticked.
Please note: We do not provide further support for installation of .m4r or .mp3 ringtones.
