Steve Davies

Steve Davies is your CanDo Member for Capalaba.

Steve Davies childhood spent in far north Queensland, Melbourne and finally in Kingaroy. As a teenager Steve moved to Brisbane  which has been his home since then.

Steve's career has progressed from hotel security in some of Queensland’s toughest pubs to mixing concrete and stacking bricks on some of Queensland’s biggest building sites. From here Steve went onto working with at risk youth on Queensland streets to currently owning his own small business and recently gaining his Masters in Business at QUT.

Steve lives with wife of 25 years, Simone, and their two daughters Tanielle and Brooke. His interests include, Rugby League, Horse riding, music and mentoring young adults, especially those that have fallen through society’s cracks.

Steve Davies believes his extensive life experience gives him a unique insight into the many struggles and challenges that those in the Capalaba electorate and Queenslanders in general face. Issue such as the high cost of living, the need for better public transport services and Government that has the CanDo attitude and not just empty rhetoric.

Steve’s passion for people means that his foremost objective is to ensure that the Capalaba Electorate gets the services and infrastructure it needs and deserves. Steve has a passion to restore Queensland to the number one State in the Nation, by encouraging and supporting a vibrant business environment, and the quality of life that Queenslanders deserve.
