Steve Minnikin

Steve Minnikin is the Assistant Minister for Public Transport and your CanDo Member for Chatsworth.

Steve Minnikin has a deep connection to the Chatsworth area, having lived here for most of his life. Steve grew up in Carina and now resides in Belmont with his wife Roslyn, who is a high school teacher and their two boys, Harrison and Lachlan.

Steve understands the local issues affecting the Chatsworth community including the need for more high school facilities, better public transport services and high cost of living pressures caused by spiralling state government fees and charges.

That's why Steve is committed to fighting for better local services and key infrastructure, which Labor has failed to deliver after almost two decades in government. Steve believes in getting the basics right, planning ahead and working hard to deliver results.

As part of the CanDo LNP team, Steve Minnikin will bring hard work, vision and a 'hands on' approach to Chatsworth and fight for the issues that matter to our local community.
