BiographyShane was elected to Parliament in 2004. He is working hard to represent the people of Charters Towers for The LNP. Shane is currently assisting the Leader in North Queensland.
Shane and his wife Heather have four children and are very involved in their local community through Charters Towers Toastmasters, Chamber of Commerce and the town’s Lions Club.

Thank you Jan for stating the obvious, it is a department out of control with inexperience and a sense of loathing for parents.
The Minister has always shirked her responsibility. Just what is her job again and how much does she get paid to pass the buck?
Ms - Dear Mr Springborg, I am appalled at the use of speed cameras as a tool for further revenue collection especially
considering the hard times being endured. Collecting speeding fines from people a few kilometers over the speed limit cannot be
considered a remedy to decrease our road toll...nothin...
