Premier Anna Bligh must stop dodging questions and come clean about what she knew about the management of Wivenhoe Dam during the floods, the State Opposition said today.
Deputy Opposition Leader Tim Nicholls said explosive revelations today that the Premier's right hand man was told two days before Brisbane flooded about crucial information on the operation of Wivenhoe Dam raised fresh doubts over what Anna Bligh knew and when.
LNP Parliamentary Leader Jeff Seeney has called on Premier Anna Bligh to place the state government into caretaker mode immediately to cut confusion, and deliver certainty on the use of taxpayer funds.
"Ms Bligh has sailed the state into uncharted waters by setting an election date, but refusing to place the government into caretaker mode for another three weeks," Mr Seeney said.
