A Message From Adam

Adam Stoker, your Senate candidate for Queensland

I am a lawyer and governance expert who has spent more than two decades helping deliver major infrastructure projects across the aviation, transport, mining and resources, and manufacturing sectors.

Holding a Bachelor of Medical Science, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Master of Taxation, I have worked on job-creating and world-leading projects from Brisbane to Cape York. My experience includes the construction of airport runway infrastructure in Brisbane, gas-powered electricity and steam cogeneration facilities in Gladstone, and rail infrastructure across Central and North Queensland. I have also advised on the expansion of pharmacy practices to improve access to essential services for rural and regional Queenslanders.

Throughout my career, I have developed board policies designed to promote ethics, accountability, and transparency in decision-making. This has included implementing whistleblower frameworks, robust investigation processes, and appropriate employee protections to support strong organisational governance.

I am passionate about ensuring employees have safe and productive workplaces. I have negotiated enterprise bargaining agreements that deliver fair remuneration and opportunities for employees, while providing employers with the flexibility needed to grow their businesses and remain profitable.

As a father of three girls, I am committed to helping build a stronger future for the next generation. In the Senate, I will work to ensure taxpayers' money is spent wisely, costs are carefully managed, and major projects are delivered on time and on budget. By driving responsible economic management and supporting growth, I will work to create greater opportunity and prosperity for all Australians.
