About Glenn

Glenn Doyle’s entire life has been about protecting his community. As a police officer in Townsville, Glenn’s policing career has allowed him to help build a better and safer community, here locally.

But, having seen the impact of Labor’s law and order failures first-hand, Glenn is sick and tired of criminals terrorising our community. We need a change in Townsville and in Queensland. Glenn wants to see an overhaul of Queensland’s justice system, to end Labor’s catch-and-release approach to juvenile offenders, and bring in tougher sentences, more police and more police resources. Community safety has driven Glenn to stand as your LNP Candidate, to fight for residents who deserve to feel safe in their own homes.

As a father of three, Glenn is passionate about building a strong economy to ensure the economic future of Townsville and create more jobs. Glenn knows building infrastructure and delivering water security is critical to our community’s long-term success and that’s why he backs Deb Frecklington’s plan for the New Bradfield Scheme.

As a frontline worker, Glenn knows Labor’s wrong priorities have hurt our local community.

With a track record of fighting for and protecting his community, Glenn is proud to be a part of Deb Frecklington’s LNP team that will get Queensland working again.

For the past five years Labor have had their heads in the sand regarding Townsville crime. This is just another "headline announcement" to look like they're doing something in the lead-up to the election. Even if they remember the commitment more than 48 hours after being re-elected, the way they'd manage it would be an utter shambles. Like every department in the Labor Government. Keep going Glenn Doyle - Mundingburra needs you!!

Same strategy has been tried numerous times. This is a temporary fix that does not last. Police in Townsville are qualified and can do the job. The QPS just need more officers permanently allocated to the Townsville area. I retired this year but have 35 years experience of policing in Townsville. I know what I am taking about and can make honest open comments. I am no longer restrained by QPS policy to not comment on staff numbers and operational matters.

5 years is far too long. Labor’s last minute commitment shows they are more interested in winning elections then doing the right thing by the people of Townsville. It’s shameful

We All Should Be Working On An Outcome! Leave The Political Agenda Out Of The Equation! Just Hold The Tongue If You Are Negative!!!

How can they say they are going to do anything at all as they have not produced a budget they don’t know how much they have or how much they have spent just a lot of lies

It’s just a bandaid. These operations are great in the short term but aren’t sustainable.

Wow! Put Them On The Ground Running! Sooner The Better!

Shes still not listening. Fix the justice system .

Allan Hussey the police can do the job, they want to be able to do the job but they are not allowed to do the job. My thoughts anyway. I understand police pursuits are dangerous I have been involved in countless pursuits however just driving around Townsville at present is so dangerous with stolen cars on the incorrect side of the road and going through red lights at high speed. Only a matter of time before an innocent family gets killed.

Don’t you love politics, another short term fix with no real long term strategy or funding. 😂 😆 😝

Just the same temporary fix.

Too little too late.
