About Lauren

Having been a television journalist for most of her working life, Lauren Day has covered the most important issues in our inner western suburbs – whether that’s natural disasters, crime and court cases, or fighting to protect local lifestyle.

Lauren and her husband Matthew, a police officer, are raising their two young children locally. In her spare time, Lauren volunteers as a Meals on Wheels driver, and also volunteers for the Cubberla-Witton Catchments Network.

Through her work and community involvement, locals have consistently told Lauren how fed up they are with the Palaszczuk/Trad Labor Government, which has been supported by The Greens.

Lauren feels this is evident now more than ever, and in the tough times we are currently facing, it is so important Queensland has a government that will be a strong economic manager to get Queensland working again.

Lauren is determined to create a better future for the next generation. As a part of Deb Frecklington’s LNP team, Lauren backs Deb’s plan to get Queensland working again.

GO TEAM DAY!😁

Well done Lauren. It looks like Rosie is exhausted. Time to expose Annastacia’s fanatic spending excesses, past, present and future. Wait till the Tax increases are introduced. No new taxes she promises, but no assurances that the existing tax burden won’t be increased - it has to be to try and slam on the brakes!

Labor has no budget and no plan to drag Queensland out of recession.

Prior to COVID, Queensland had the nation’s highest unemployment, most bankruptcies and lowest business confidence.

The LNP is the only party that has a plan to create a stronger economy and more secure jobs.

Our economic plan includes investing in road infrastructure to stimulate the economy, building the New Bradfield Scheme, building dams to improve water and food security and a no new tax guarantee to support private sector investment.

Isn't this exactly the same as the Commonwealth and NSW? Why is it an issue that Qld is also doing it?
