Sam Marino is a long-term Cairns local.
Sam and his wife Linda have chosen to raise their family here because they love being part of a city that’s built on friendship and family.
Having started his working life as an apprentice, Sam soon qualified as an electrician. Now, as a small business owner, Sam knows how tough it can be to juggle the demands of family and work.
A strong believer in giving back to his community, Sam has served on several not-for-profit organisations and boards that give back to the community.
Local residents have become frustrated with the Palaszczuk Government. They’re frustrated by Queensland’s stagnant economy, high unemployment and a rising crime rate. And they’re frustrated that our health and education services are not being run properly.
We need a real plan to get us through the tough times we’re facing in Cairns. People should have confidence that they will have good hospitals and schools and that their government is tough on crime.
A proud Member of Deb Frecklington’s LNP team, Sam Marino is committed to fighting for local jobs and more investment in our city. Deb Frecklington and Sam Marino will get Queensland working again.
